LANCASTER COUNTY ELEMENTARY CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP
EASTER EGG HUNT
Children ages 6 and under are invited to hop on over to the Hempfield Rec Center for a morning of egg hunting, crafts, games, refreshments and lots of fun! The Easter Bunny will be here hopping around so bring your camera for pictures. Pre-registration is appreciated.

HEMPFIELD COMMUNITY FLEA MARKET
The Hempfield Area Recreation Commission and The Hempfield Woman's Club are working together to produce the bi-annual Flea Markets that
the Hempfield Woman's Club has successfully managed for more than 30 years. This partnership will only enhance the event for the community and the proceeds from the event will be used for scholarships and other community endeavors. If you are interested in reserving
a space for the event on Memorial Day, or have questions concerning the event, please call Karen 898-3102, ext. 32, or you can e-mail her at kmichnya@hempfieldrec.com.

ANNUAL ZUMBATHON (LAND AND WATER)
Join us for 4 hours of Zumba® to raise money to support our scholarship funds on Sunday, Jan. 15 from 11-4 p.m. The schedule will be as follows:
- 11 a.m.-noon Aqua Zumba®;
- noon-1 p.m. break for lunch;
- 1-4 p.m. Zumba®.
HARC has a scholarship fund set up to help individuals or families in need of financial assistance to participate in our programs or memberships. Ages 13 and up.

START TRAINING NOW! 3RD ANNUAL RECTRIC CENTURY BIKE RIDE SUNDAY, JUNE 24
Challenge yourself with a 72-mile bike ride through scenic Lancaster County. This rolling course featuring stops at each Rec Center, will highlight all the beauty Lancaster has to offer. For those more interested in a recreational ride a 30-mile loop taking you from Hempfield Rec Center to Historic Lititz and back. PATRICK MCGRATH MEMORIAL MINI MEET(10 & UNDER)
Swim America and Hempfield Rec Center will be hosting a Mini Meet on Sun., March 4, 3 p.m. until finished for all Swim America Fall 2011/Winter 2012 participants, USS Teams and YMCA teams. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Patrick McGrath Memorial Fund. This fund provides Swim America lessons for children who are not able to afford them. Registration forms available early January.

What is the SPARTAN "300" Challenge?
- 75 Jumping Jacks
- 50 Burpees
- 75 Air Squats
- 50 Full Situps
- 50 Pushups
- 1/4 Mile Run
Participants complete the challenge for times (breaks allowed, but must complete each task before advancing). Prizes awarded to top male/female. Ages 13 and up.
