FITNESS AND WELLNESS DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION
The new member orientation is specifically designed for individuals new to our Fitness Center or fitness all together. You will spend approximately 60-90 minutes, one-on-one, with our staff, and an exercise program will be designed for you. The orientation includes a body composition analysis, cardio equipment instruction, stretching, and circuit strength training. Our goal is to help you get the most out of each and every one of your workouts. Once you become a member of our fitness center, you can schedule your free orientation immediately.


LOSE IT IN LANDISVILLE SEASON VII
Based on the TV Show Biggest Loser, HARC will be holding our own competition called "Lose it in Landisville." This is a 10-week weight loss challenge. Program includes body compositions week 1, week 5, week 10; before and after pictures; 2 one-on-one personal nutritional counseling sessions week 1 and week 5; team t-shirt; nutrition log book; 2 group training sessions as a team per week with a nationally certified personal trainer Wednesday 6:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings 7:30 a.m.; 1 one-on-one personal training session; weekly workouts provided; weekly weigh-ins; support material and information weekly; and online support from our Fitness and Wellness Director/Personal Trainers.

GROUP CYCLING PROGRAM
A great addition to your workout. Classes are led by a cycling instructor who will take you on a challenging and fun-filled ride, through the use of motivating music and visuals. It is a great workout and excellent way to improve your overall fitness level. See Group Exercise Schedule!


PILATES MATWORK
Designed for those just beginning an exercise program or with special needs. Experience the peace of the mind-body connection learned with the techniques of Joseph Pilates. Bring a towel/mat and firm pillow/bolster.

KUNDALINI YOGA
Kundalini Yoga is a 5,000 year old authentic system of yogic exercise and meditation that promotes health, happiness, and spiritual awareness. There are three basic components to Kundalini Yoga. There are the physical postures that include yoga stretching and movement which are referred to as exercise sets. These exercise sets strengthen and balance the nervous system, the glandular system and the circulatory system to promote optimum physical and emotional health. The second component is breathing techniques which supports a person in processing emotions and feelings, controlling moods and developing concentration. The last component is meditation techniques this works to direct and discipline the mind. The practice of this yoga can give strength, courage, and radiance to meet all of life's challenges.
