HIGH SCHOOL PRE-SEASON CONDITIONING PROGRAM
This program has been designed for students in grades 8–12 interested in pre-season conditioning prior to the start of the official High School competitive swimming season. Includes stroke technique review and refinement, practice in starts and turns as well as conditioning.

HEMPFIELD HIGH SCHOOL COMPETITIVE SWIMMING PROGRAM
Beginning on Friday, Nov. 19, the Hempfield High School Girls and Boys Swimming Team will be utilizing our pool facility from 3:30–5:30 p.m. each day, Monday–Friday. During this time, we will maintain the availability of one lap lane. There will be no Family/Open Swim time during this period. This program will continue its use of our facility until early March, 2011. There is one (1) home swimming meet in Dec., 2010. That meet is on Tuesday, Dec. 14. On meet days, the pool will close at 2 p.m. and will reopen at the conclusion of the meet, approximately 6:30 p.m.
AQUA TOTS
This program is designed to get children 6 months to 3 years old (with a parent/caregiver) acclimated to the water using games and songs. Classes meet Tuesday and Thursdays for four (4) week periods.

COMPETITIVE STROKE CLINIC
This clinic includes instruction in all four competitive strokes, turns, and starts. The program is designed for swimmers with some experience and who have knowledge of the four competitive strokes. The clinic provides an opportunity for swimmers to
refine strokes, improve turns, and work on starts. Pre-requisite: Participants must be at least 7 years of age and be able to swim all four strokes and swim 25 meters (10 and under) or 50 meters (11 & up) in a confident and relatively strong manner. Pre-registration is required.

BEGINNER SCUBA/OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION
Immerse yourself in the exciting and invigorating sport of Scuba Diving! The Open Water Scuba Course includes academic and skill development conducted by a PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) Dive Instructor in a comfortable
class size with individual attention to each student. The course fee of $370 includes all necessary books, equipment, and instruction for the course with the exception of your own personal gear. The personal gear required includes a mask, snorkel, fins, boots, and a weight belt, which may be custom fitted and purchased at Lancaster Scuba Center.
